Together We Thrive: Holiday Greetings from the Head of School

Dear Parents and Students,

As we approach the upcoming holiday and many of us prepare to celebrate Christmas and welcome the New Year, I want to take a moment to reflect on the achievements and experiences that have been key for our community in this our 15th and 20th anniversary year of 2025.

This year, our students have continued to excel academically, with AP and SAT results surpassing global averages, affirming the strength of our academic foundation. Beyond the classroom, their curiosity and ambition have taken them far: from participating in the Nord Anglia Education Student Summit, to serving communities in China and Kazakhstan, and even embarking on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to MIT. These opportunities embody our mission to inspire lifelong learning, service, and global citizenship.

We are also proud to have been officially designated as a Cambridge English Model School and Authorized Examination Center—the first in Dalian. This recognition underscores our commitment to excellence and innovation in English language education.

As we celebrate the festive season, let us also celebrate the spirit of togetherness, resilience, and growth that defines Dalian American Internation School and Dalian Huamei School. I am deeply grateful to our dedicated staff, supportive parents, and inspiring students for making our school a place where learning thrives and futures are shaped.

I hope that this holiday season bring joy, peace, and renewal to you and your families. I look forward to all that we will accomplish together in the year ahead.
