We are proud to announce that Dalian Huamei Bilingual School has officially been designated as a Cambridge English Teaching Model School and an Authorized Cambridge English Examination Center.
This prestigious recognition is a testament to the excellence of our English education, the strength and coherence of our curriculum, the professionalism of our teaching faculty, and our commitment to fostering a global perspective. It also marks a significant and solid step forward in our ongoing international education journey.
The association will provide schools with direct access to the latest Cambridge teaching materials, assessment standards, and curriculum frameworks. This ensures that English instruction remains aligned with global best practices, allowing students to engage with the most authoritative and up-to-date learning content available.
The association will support schools in establishing an official CEQ exam center on campus, offering a dedicated registration channel and professional score analysis services. This enables students to take internationally recognized English proficiency exams in a familiar environment, eliminating the need for travel, reducing time and financial burden for families, and boosting students’ confidence in their exam preparation.
The association will offer Cambridge-accredited teacher training programs such as TKT, CELTA, and DELTA. Through a structured blend of theory and practice, these programs empower educators to fully embrace Cambridge’s teaching philosophy and integrate the goal of “developing lifelong competencies” into every lesson, enhancing both their professional expertise and instructional effectiveness.
As one of the world’s most influential institutions in English education and assessment, Cambridge University Press & Assessment has been providing English proficiency testing since 1913. Its comprehensive Cambridge English Qualifications span all stages of learning, from Young Learners English (YLE) to Proficiency (CPE), meeting the diverse needs of learners worldwide. These certificates are recognized by over 25,000 educational institutions around the world, serving as an internationally accepted “passport of language proficiency.”
The recent accreditation means that our school has successfully passed rigorous evaluation in areas such as teaching quality, curriculum implementation, teacher training, and exam administration, officially becoming one of the few Cambridge English Teaching Model Schools and Authorized Test Centers in the region.
This is not only a mark of honor, but also a call to responsibility. As a model school, we are committed to developing scalable teaching practices, promoting the localization of the Cambridge system, and setting a benchmark for English education in the region.

Dr. Craig Wilson, the Head of School shared at the official accreditation ceremony: “The CEQs provide assessments which enable students to demonstrate their progress in developing their English skills to themselves, their peers and their parents. They enable us as a school to benchmark ourselves against other schools around the world. The stepwise nature of the CEQ framework makes it accessible to all students and is something which makes it particularly attractive to me. Finally, the highest qualifications in the CEQ framework are sufficient to enable students to demonstrate their skills to universities and to future employers, something which makes the CEQ framework particularly powerful.”
Principal Zhou, the DHS National Principal, also emphasized in her speech: “We believe that excellent education begins with continuously improving educators. That’s why we have launched the ‘Teacher Excellence Program’, which fully supports our faculty in obtaining international teaching qualifications such as TKT, CELTA, and DELTA. We understand that when teachers are equipped with global expertise and stand at the forefront of educational innovation, they can inspire students to broaden their horizons and thrive in an increasingly interconnected world.”
Ms. Lang Sihui, the Director of the Cambridge English Examination Center, Liaoning Province shared at the official accreditation ceremony: "Today’s gathering is driven by a shared vision: to provide children with higher-quality, globally connected English education. The designation of Huamei Bilingual School as a Cambridge English Model School marks a solid step toward realizing that vision."
