Open Days
On September 26, the Parent Support Group (PSG) hosted this year’s Family Fun Day with a great success. A variety of student-led booths and food vendors were set up in front of the North Gym and on the playground. Students, parents, and teachers were having a great time participating in the activities and enjoying the delicious food.
The Parent Support Group organized lots of fun games, with amazing help from parent volunteers who made sure everything went smoothly.
One of our traditional activities, the Family Fun Run, was organized and executed by our varsity boys and girls volleyball team. By witnessing students in different age groups finished the race to the best of their ability, we truly appreciate and support the sportsmanship that they explicitly demonstrated. Moreover, there were many parents running with their children, which was such a fantastic way to enhance their familial relationship.

Other than being responsible for the Fun Run, the girls volleyball team also made homemade brownies, waffles, lemon/peach tea as a fundraising event for the team hoodies. Afterwards, all the volleyball team players participated in the first ever DAIS Volleyball Community Cup with parents and teachers, which was a valuable opportunity to enhance our players' volleyball skills while facilitating their bonds with their parents.
Student Government was responsible for the handcraft section where students/children DIYed their bracelets, drew on the gypsum, etc. Even though this was only a small event that StuGov hosted, our next HUGE, IMPORTANT event is the MONSTER MASH on October 26! Remember to purchase your ticket early and we look forward seeing you during the event!
Indeed, the importance of having Family Fun Night was to embrace our community spirit, thus, elevating the overall cohesion of our DAIS Community. Special thanks goes out to Mr. Paul Robinson, who organized the traditional Tug of War, ensuring the event ran smoothly and was a highlight of the day.
We truly appreciate everyone's support on the success of this celebration and look forward to the Family Fun Day for next year!
