We wish everyone a happy and healthy Year of the Rabbit!
DAIS Secondary students celebrated, honored and enjoyed the festival during their advisory classes this week. Drawing traditional couplets and other decorations, making (and eating!) dumplings and noodles, writing thank you notes for friends and school staff - teachers have been creative in planning different activities for this special occasion.
One of our School Wide Learner Outcomes says: Learners will appreciate and reflect on the influences of cultures in their interactions with others. We're happy that our students have been able to celebrate 2023 Lunar New Year together!
