This summer, the 2026 Sea Dragon Summer Camp at Dalian American International School & Huamei School is fully upgraded.
This year’s summer camp features an upgraded curriculum with English Language Arts, swimming, and STEAM, delivered in a full-day immersive English environment. Small class sizes and one-on-one practice support individualized learning.
Using the Cambridge English assessment system, student progress is tracked in real time. The campus replicates an American-style school experience, allowing students to learn in an authentic environment without going abroad.
Summer camp 2025
With Jinshitan’s natural setting, weekly fieldtrip is included. Our high school students serve as camp counselors, providing mentorship and enhancing language development.
Summer camp lasts for two weeks. Parents can choose to sign up for either 1 week or two weeks. MAP test is provided to help evaluate English level.

Students Aged 9+ can choose the boarding option. Families from NAE sister schools enjoy the same fees as DAIS/Huamei.
The summer camp offers small class sizes of no more than 15 students, led by DAIS full-time teachers in a fully immersive English environment throughout both classes and activities. Selected high-achieving high school volunteers serve as Camp Counselors, sharing study strategies and personal experiences while providing positive role models. With strong and stable international faculty resources, students are immersed in an authentic global classroom and campus culture, helping them adapt early to overseas learning styles and smoothly transition to an international education pathway. This is an ideal choice for families planning to study abroad.

The program is set up with the goal of bridging to the international school's basic language standards, so that students can experience the international teaching styles in advance.
Families from NAE sister schools enjoy the same fees as DAIS/Huamei.
2026 summer camp is open for registration on April 9, pay before May 11 for Early Birds. Limited space. Price includes all teaching materials, certification, accommodation, activities and 24-hour medical service. Day program includes lunch.
The boarding program includes 3 meals and 1 night snack, bedding, and evening activities such as jiu-jitsu, cooking, yoga, and more, all supervised by boarding teachers. Boarding students will additionally benefit from the comfortable and safe boarding facilities located on campus.
Non-local families may contact us to reserve a one-bedroom apartment or two-bedroom two-bathroom apartment (further options available upon request) in Campus Village on a daily rent and explore the beautiful coastal city of Dalian.
The camp features international-standard facilities within a fully managed, closed campus, supported by 24-hour nursing care and on-site security. After enrollment, the camp manager will coordinate with parents prior to the program. All classes include outdoor excursions, allowing students to explore the natural beauty of Jinshitan.
