DAISMUN XVI: Empowering the Next Generation of Diplomats

DAISMUN Tokyo Trial

The DAISMUN XVI, held on March 6-7, provided a unique experience for passionate student delegates from across the region to engage in an immersive experience of diplomatic discourse, critical thinking, and collaborative engagement. We were delighted to host two esteemed visiting schools, namely QSI and Maple Leaf, whose talented student delegates injected fresh perspectives, thoughtful insights, and unwavering enthusiasm to every committee session of the conference.

During the conference, student delegates worked through critical global issues, crafted comprehensive resolutions, and developed their skills in public speaking and negotiations. All of this would not have been possible without the tireless efforts of our outstanding secretariat team: Julius Chen (Secretary General), Thomas Sebahi (Deputy Secretary General), Dennis Luo (Executive Administrative Officer), Amy Li (Conference Service Officer), Victoria Shao (Press and Publication Officer), Mason Kim (Product Design Manager), whose meticulous planning and coordination ensured that every detail of the conference went off without a hitch.

We would also like to express our deepest gratitude to our esteemed school MUN administrator, Mr. Flanagan, for his unwavering commitment to our student leadership development program and for making the DAISMUN XVI a memorable experience for all delegates, advisors, and organizers involved.
