Zuri Q., Secretary-General, FIFA Committee Director: "As my last conference in my high school career, DAISMUN XV will definitely have an important place in my heart for the years to come. Despite not being able to have as much schools as we had last year, we are still grateful for SASPX, XHIS, and a Concordia individual delegate to visit us, and contribute towards the conference. Apart from serving as the Secretary-General of the conference, I also directed the FIFA Organising Committee to leverage a personal passion of mine to a competitive crisis-style debate, ensuring that all delegates were aligning with the official bidding procedures, and providing them with procedural guidance throughout the process.

DAISMUN XV marks a year of creativity and innovation, where we hosted 4 specialized committees of various procedures. I had the privilege of witnessing compelling debates on different topics from all of our delegates, and I hope that every participant enjoyed the process at DAISMUN this year."

Rebecca L., Deputy Secretary-General, IMT Director: "DAISMUN XV will be one of my most cherished memories, being my 15th conference and my last MUN conference in high school. Leading the Nuremberg Trial committee was both a challenging and rewarding experience. Ensuring that delegates upheld historical accuracy while engaging in compelling legal debate required a balance of structure and flexibility. Judges had to maintain decorum, guide nuanced discussions on justice and responsibility, and ensure that every argument—whether for the prosecution or defense—was grounded in fact and ethical reasoning. Witnessing delegates wrestle with the weight of history and articulate their stances with conviction reinforced the importance of critical thinking and moral inquiry in diplomacy."

Angel W., UNCSA President: "Thinking back to my first DAISMUN conference in middle school as an admin, observing students representing a country and confidently speak in front the podium, everything seems so fascinating and complicated to me. It’s something that I strive for and wish to be involved in in the future. And now, as a senior, I achieved what I have been aiming for, participating in DAISMUN XV as the head president of UNCSA. I grew up from a delegate who was afraid to make any POIs to a Chair that bangs the gavel and teaches delegates the procedure.

My MUN journey had provided me with new experiences and the courage to make thoughtful and logical speeches in a short amount of time. I’ve seen the huge growth and progress I gained from joining DAISMUN, each step counting not only in MUN, but also for your ability overall. It’s also a great place to meet new people and make friends. I wish I could go back in time and continue my DAISMUN journey!"

Dennis L., IMT Judge: "For me, stepping into the role of a chair for the first time was both challenging and rewarding. The Nuremberg Trials was not just about debating and crushing the other side of the argument – it was about dissecting justice, morality, and legal accountability. I was astonished to see the great amount of enthusiasm and dedication in our delegates’ speeches and debates. I leave DAISMUN XV not only with a deeper understanding of leadership but also a newfound appreciation for history and ethics."

Well done to all!
