Panda Book Awards Are Here! Vote and Win a Prize

From this month through March 6, the Panda Book Awards will be celebrated across DAIS. During this time, students will explore this year’s nominated titles, take part in reading activities, and vote for their favorite Panda Book. 

What’s happening in our libraries?

Panda Book displays are now set up in the Elementary, Bilingual, and Secondary Libraries.

Student-designed Panda Book covers are on display in the Secondary Library alongside the original covers.

All Panda Book Award titles are available for checkout in DAIS/DHBS libraries.

Voting is now open!

Voting runs from now until March 6. Students, parents, and teachers are all invited to vote. Simply scan the QR code displayed in the libraries or use the online voting link shared by the school. Everyone who votes has a chance to win a prize from the library if they choose the winning book!

Families are invited to explore the history of the Panda Book Awards and discover this year's nominated books by viewing the presentation featuring covers, authors, and short blurbs.

We encourage families to talk about books at home, visit the library, read together, and take part in voting. Thank you for helping us foster a love of reading across our school community!
