Open Days
Do you know about the Spark Peace Project? It’s a global initiative from Students Rebuild that invites young people to explore what peace means to them and express it through creative projects. From drawings and paintings to poems and personal stories, each submission not only shares a vision of peace but also helps raise funds for real-world peacebuilding efforts. For every creative piece submitted, the Bezos Family Foundation donates $5 to organizations working to build a more compassionate and inclusive world.
On April 30, our Grade 5 Student Council reps stepped up as leaders and changemakers. They visited elementary classrooms across the building, introduced the Spark Peace Project, and led engaging, hands-on activities that encouraged younger students to reflect on peace and happiness. Whether through colorful artwork, thoughtful writing, or imaginative storytelling, students of all ages had the chance to express their hopes for a more peaceful world.
It was a day full of creativity, connection, and good vibes and so cool to see what big ideas can come from small voices!
