Happy Halloween! Week of Spooktacular Celebration at DAIS/DHS

Halloween game

Starting from Friday, October 25, and all the way to Thursday, October 31, Dalian American International School and Dalian Huamei School hosted many entertaining Halloween events for our community as well as guests from the entire city.

Halloween Parade

On October 25, DAIS Elementary students and teachers dressed up in vibrant Halloween costumes and marched proudly past the cheering crowd of parents gathered outside the school building.

Monster Mash

On October 26, the DAIS & DHS Student Government hosted the Monster Mash Party - a tradition for the past 16 years. This year’s event was more successful than ever, drawing over 500 visitors from across Dalian. The campus buzzed with a festive atmosphere and fun activities at every corner. Inside the South Gym, over 40 booths offered the best Halloween games and crafts, while outside, a food street provided tasty treats for everyone to enjoy.

Haunted House

On the same afternoon, the National Honor Society (NHS) presented The Haunted House in the Secondary School building - bigger and scarier than ever! We got immersed in the School Horror Story - chills around every corner and scary surprises.

Trick or Treat?

Trick or treating around the Campus Village is probably the most thrilling part of Halloween celebration at DAIS/DHS. Residents decorated their houses and cars and prepared lots of candies for kids to collect and enjoy.

Gods, Myths and Monsters

We continued the celebration on Monday, October 28, when the DAIS/DHS Music Department invited us to their holiday inspired performance, "Gods, Myths, and Monsters". The Intermediate and Advanced level bands and orchestras dressed up in their Halloween attire treated us to beautiful music pieces including "Dark Adventure," "The Haunted Playground," "Bacchanale" from Samson and Delilah, "Warrior Legacy" and more.
