ACAMIS Basketball 2025: Results Are In

13-15 February saw Sea Dragons U19 Basketball teams travel to Shanghai to participate in the ACAMIS Gold Division tournament.

The boys opened with a win against ISNS while the girls were defeated by last year's champions. In game 2 the girls scored a victory over the host WCIS Lions while the boys lost to the hosts. Game 3 the guest team of UWC Changshu defeated the girls and BSB defeated the boys team.

Day 2 opened with a double loss to AISHK Kangaroos which was then followed by close losses to XIS Dolphins meaning that with 1/4 records we went into the 5th/6th place play off.

The boys and girls showed great character from the previous days disappointments to secure 5th places finishes with victories in their play-off. 

We also lose a number of seniors this year, who have been great role models to others and fine ambassadors for DAIS. Their legacy will continue to live with us!

All Star tournament team nominations were Calvin and Leo H. for boys with Zuri and Angel the picks for the girls.
