On Friday, December 9 the Varsity Girls Basketball team played their first game of the season with a Red v Gold scrimmage. The Sea Dragons looked sharp with the Red team finishing ahead in the 42-27 game.
Our boys and girls basketball teams have been practicing hard in December and January and playing against some challenging opposition as we look forward to the prospect of ACAMIS returning in February. The girls hosted Dalian Chunteng Club in a 23-47 defeat on January 10 and followed up with an impressive performance against the DAIS Female Teacher team on January 17. The Teachers edged victory 28-26 in overtime – the second year running this game went to overtime!
Varsity Boys basketball played the Intel Club Men’s team on January 17. Intel ran out 46-60 winners in a high paced and entertaining encounter. The Sea Dragons will be back in action after returning from a one week break for Chinese New Year.
