Fall Athletics Kick Off

Cross country practice

On Monday, October 10, fall After School Activities for students in Kindergarten through Grade 12 began at DAIS. Our ASAs are divided into three different sessions; Fall, Winter, and Spring. Activities occur on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:55 to 4:45 p.m. Paid activities are offered all week long and vary in length.

On Thursday, September 29 our ASA outside vendors went through an orientation and Safeguarding training led by our Athletics and Activities team and Secondary School Counselor Ms. Carrie Sun. The health and safety of our students is our number one priority and training like this helps maintain a safe and successful school environment.

Volleyball practice

At Dalian American International School, we also offer a wide range of athletics to meet the needs of our competitive, passionate students as well as those that just want to experience a new sport.  With an emphasis on sportsmanship, each student-athlete is challenged to learn and develop new skills while staying committed to our goals of fostering integrity, respect, leadership, discipline, and a sense of responsibility for ourselves and the community.

Athletic Program offerings at DAIS include Volleyball, Table Tennis, Golf, Cross Country, Basketball, Swimming, Soccer and Badminton, divided into three seasons: fall, winter, and spring. This fall, students will take part in volleyball, table tennis and cross country. This will be a short season of 6 weeks only, starting from September 27. We're aiming to participate in ACAMIS competitions this November, and our student athletes will practice hard to make the most of the remaining time.
