Success Factors: DAIS Faculty Professional Growth

Teachers in a meeting

On September 23, all DAIS teachers participated in a professional development session led by Dr. Swann, the Head of School, focusing on self-directed professional growth targets for the coming year. Each of our faculty members will start designing their SMART goals for teaching and learning based on Success Factors and extensive resources offered by Nord Anglia University.

In the very near future all our staff will be committing to their self-directed professional growth targets for the coming year. Each of our teachers will be designing their SMART goals for professional and personal development for teaching and learning [SMART goals are Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Results oriented, Timely].

Part of the relationship with Nord Anglia is the massive NAU resource of professional learning courses and certifications. This enables all our staff to access the most recent research for skills, knowledge, collaborations, personal development, career development and many other attributes for self-improvement to enable a constantly improving and professionally literate team of educators and support staff who know how to be good at what they do and can reach for excellence when guided and supported with the resources they need most.
