Open Days
It’s been the Lemon Market Day in the Elementary School on June 7th. Students in grades 3 to 5 were invited to come see and buy lemon products that were for sale.
While reviewing the lessons on economy and businesses that they had during Social Studies classes, all Grade 4 students created a business that has something to do with lemons. Lemonades, lemon cupcakes and bread, pudding, sorbet, ice tea… Students made these items at home and brought to school to sell them to our kids and staff. Students also made posters and advertisements, dressed up, or played a game to draw the interest of their customers.
All donations and profits – amounting to $500! – will go to the Jane Goodall Roots and Shoots Institute. We are eager to help saving animals and our environment!
