DAIS and DHS have a current enrollment of just over 700 students representing some 30 nationalities. Our teachers also come from all over the world. It’s amazing to see how all of our unique backgrounds bring us together to make us better.
Last week we asked all Elementary School students, teachers and supporting staff to take part is a meaningful activity. We gave them puzzle pieces and asked to decorate them the way they want – using different colors, details, names or symbols of their country. Then we put all pieces together and made a school wide puzzle.
What a beautiful artwork we got! All pieces are different and unique, but they all fit together and form a precious, one of a kind masterpiece, just like people in our school community. We hope that DAIS and DHS will appreciate and acknowledge that ‘Together is Better’ during a time that the world seems to be ripping further apart.
