At Dalian American International School (DAIS), learning goes beyond the classroom. Wacky Tacky Day is one of the most loved traditions in our elementary division. Students and teachers showed up in mismatched clothes, wild hairstyles, and wonderfully wacky combinations.

It wasn’t just about dressing up. It was about celebrating creativity, confidence, and community spirit.

This year’s Wacky Tacky Day brought laughter and connection across the school. Students and teachers had fun, laughed together, and celebrated what makes each of us unique. These moments help build a culture where your child feels safe to express themselves and excited to come to school. Many even walked across the runway like real models, striking poses and cheering each other on.
