Celebrating Learning and Growth at Elementary Community Time

Elementary school kids

Parents, students, and teachers came together for a memorable Elementary Community Time that showcased the essence of our School-Wide Learning Outcomes (SWLOs). Through creative performances, interactive moments, and even a quiz for the parents, everyone gained valuable insights into the skills and values that shape our learning community.

The event explained and brought to life all of the SWLOs: Character, Success Skills, Higher Order Thinking, Intercultural Competence, and Service.

Grade 5 skit

The program was brought to life by our talented students, featuring:

  • charming narration of The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Pre-K and Kindergarten;
  • lively rendition of On the Farm by Grade 1;
  • heartfelt performance of Count on Me! by Grade 3;
  • energetic Safe, Respectful, Responsible rap by Grade 2;
  • two thoughtful skits, Alumni Reunion and The Creative World of Mathematics, by Grade 5

Adding to the excitement, our Grade 4 students were recognized for their hard work and dedication as they received certificates for completing the first MIT Challenge of this school year, a milestone that celebrates their perseverance and higher-order thinking skills.

A special thank-you to our "tiny teachers" for leading us through these big lessons. Their creativity and enthusiasm left us inspired and reminded us why learning together is such a joy!
