Angel Wang, DAIS/DHS Class of 2025

Now a proud graduate of the DAIS/Huamei Class of 2025, Angel leaves behind a legacy of excellence and heart. Throughout her time in high school, she stood out for her commitment to academics, her passion for sports, and her dedication to community service. Angel brought focus, kindness, and determination to everything she did. As she reflects on senior year, she offers thoughtful advice to those about to begin their final chapter:

I’ve had many memorable experiences in my time in DAIS, and I’ve heard the previous seniors say how senior year passed very fast. I didn’t understand why they said that until now, I'm heading off to college in less than a month and freshman year was just like yesterday!

All those things that I thought I might feel extremely anxious about went through pretty smooth, so future seniors, worry less and enjoy more. There are way more things to do in college and now I’m saying this even though I’m not actually in it.

Senior year will absolutely go through in a blink of eye, so my advice would be to live each day the fullest. Try not to leave any regret. Give a shot at all the new activities you didn’t get a chance to participate in before. Spend time with your friends and family.

Good luck with your applications. Make sure to do everything ahead of time, so when it comes to the actual deadline, all you have to do is double check. And consider your college list thoroughly and carefully, don’t just make your decision based on rankings. See if the school’s spirits fit your personality and whether you will enjoy the 4 years of college in that school.

I’m sure everything will go great :) Good luck!
