Where Voices Meet: Heartbeats in Harmony

Choir

On April 24, the community came together for "Heartbeats in Harmony," an evening celebrating diversity, joy, and connection through the power of music. Students delivered a beautiful choral concert, showcasing their hard work, talent, and the unifying spirit of song.

Under the inspiring direction of Ms. Saez, our choirs brought the big stage to life - from the rhythmic energy of "Banaha" to the heartfelt harmonies of "True Colors," and from Broadway flair in "Cell Block Tango" to the global sounds of "Modimo" and "Baba Yetu."

Some other highlights included:

  • A moving original composition, "Hallways," by Thomas Z., Grade 12 student;
  • The playful charm of "Duetto Buffo di Due Gatti" - yes, the one with all the meowing!
  • A powerful finale with "TāReKiTa," blending Indian vocal percussion with choral unity.

Our student emcees - Serena, Daenerys, Hardy, and Daniel - brought warmth and wit to the stage, guiding us through a night filled with laughter, learning, and lots of applause. Thank you to our performers, teachers, and families for making this night truly harmonious.
