Not So Traditional Winter Concert

DAIS and Huamei Secondary Choral Ensembles invited us to come watch the NOT SO Traditional Winter Concert on Thursday evening, November 30.

The concert began with the sweet voices of the Middle School Choir, resonating with the pieces of "Look Up," "You Say," "Monsters," and "Last Christmas." Their young voices captivated the audience, setting a delightful tone for the evening.

Transitioning to more intricate harmonies, the Advanced Choir graced the stage with their pieces "For the Longest Time" and "Grace Kelly." The choir's nuanced delivery showcased a high level of musicality, mesmerizing audience. 

The High School Advanced Choir continued the melodic journey with a collection of holiday classics with pieces of "O Come," "Carol of the Bells," "Angels We Have Heard On High," and "You Will Be Found." The harmony made by the high school advanced choir resonated the auditorium.

The grand finale was displayed by both the Middle School and High School Choirs for a breathtaking performance of "The Wellerman." The Collaboration of voices filled the auditorium with a sense of togetherness and the harmonious convergence of the two choirs brought a dynamic energy to the stage that left the audience tapping their feet and smiling. 

The DAIS Winter Choral Concert was more than a musical event; it was a celebration of dedication, passion, and joy of creating art together. The students, guided by music teachers, demonstrated technical skills and their profound love for their craft.
