Cross country race

Well Done to our Sea Dragons Cross Country athletes who participated in the ACAMIS Tournament 2023 in Chengdu over the weekend.

In the relay event the team of Atticus Walden, Ruby Liu, Michael Ma with the assistance of a student from International School, Macao finished in 3rd place.

On day 2, it seemed that the virus that has been making its way through the school, affected our runners with an 8th place for Atticus in the U14 event and 13th place for Michael Ma in the U19 were the high finishes. It speaks volumes for our athletes that despite not feeling 100% they were prepared to go out, compete and perform to the best of their abilities showing great resilience.

Girls participate in the cross country tournament

During the ACAMIS X-Country 23, the Sea Dragons demonstrated their unwavering determination by competing at a high level throughout the entire event. Despite battling through illness, the team's tenacity and resilience enabled them to secure the 3rd place medal in the Team Relay event on the first day of the competition. On Saturday, Michael Ma and Louis Lu achieved unprecedented personal best times on a particularly challenging course.

As the competition drew to a close, our youthful team was brimming with optimism and already laying the groundwork for the upcoming 2024 season. With their incredible perseverance and optimistic attitude, we can confidently anticipate a plethora of medals in the forthcoming year.
