Dalian American International School hosted the Gold Division ACAMIS Football on April 20-22 2023. This tournament gave students from six schools around China an excellent chance to foster athleticism, competitiveness, sportsmanship, respect, leadership, discipline, and a sense of responsibility for themselves, the team and the community.
The ACAMIS Dalian Football Tournament 2023 has officially started on Thursday, April 20. It has been an energetic day for all football players participating in the ACAMIS tournament. Each team played two games, and cheered other teams in their spare time.
Friday has been very busy, with each team participating in three games. Dalian American International School students tried their best to support all teams, with DAIS Elementary students "adopting" visiting schools, creating posters and chants for them and making it loud on the stands. It was an decisive day for all teams as as the seeds for Saturday's play-offs were determined.
On Saturday it was super crowded on DAIS campus, with ACAMIS semi-finals and finals, International Day, Earth Day and other events.
