DAIS Creativity Hub Project

The Art and Design department is proud to introduce its new project - the DAIS Creativity Hub.

The aim of this project is to foster Creativity and Innovation among our community (students, teachers, parents, and community members). It's a space to share experiences related to Creativity and innovation, through conducting a workshop, giving a talk to the audience or just sharing professional creative experiences. We are a creative community but need the space to share and learn. Creativity is the most necessary skill to ensure that our students will succeed in a changing, and sometimes, uncertain future.

On Friday, October 27 we opened the project with Dr. Raimund Roesch, General Manager of Volkswagen FAW Engine Dalian (and also a parent of two of our students) who conducted a session “Creativity and Innovation in Volkswagen.” We learned a lot about the history of the company, its recent engineering projects, Digital Factory and professional development. Dr. Roesch and his colleagues even brought a real engine and a few robots for students to engage with.
