DAIS fifth graders participated in the Grade Five to Six Transition Day on Friday, May 19. They were greeted in the secondary classrooms where they could do a video project together with sixth graders and even build bridges using pasta and marshmallows. Later they had lunch in the Hungry Scholar café and ran around the building for the Scavenger Hunt.
On Friday, May 26 we bid farewell to our 5th graders, as they began their transition to Middle School with the Grade 5 Promotion Celebration. Our students and their parents had a wonderful time, and it was a great way to end the chapter on their primary education.
