On December 12th, DAIS upper elementary students performed Karaoke Christmas, A Holiday Pops Presentation!, and lower elementary performed Toys! The Night They Come Alive! This musical celebration featured popular holiday songs and dances from the 1860s through the 2000s. Musical genres included classical, swing, rock and roll, and songs from Broadway! Students performed folk dance, contemporary choreography, and dancing with candy canes. Each grade level had their own special number to perform, and this concert was an exciting way to kick off the first concert in the new DAIS gym.
