Last week out Anatomy ASA had students learning how an eye works and looking through the different parts by a cow eyeball. The ASA is run by Amy Zhang and Gina Wang, who wanted to share their passion for knowledge and anatomy with more students at DAIS.
“The Intro to Anatomy ASA is for curious Middle School and High School students interested in learning about the human body and how it functions. In our ASA, we incorporate knowledge with interactive activities like dissections, movies, and games. Throughout the last few meetings, we learned about general anatomy, the neuro system, the endocrine system, and the anatomy of the eye with cow-eye dissection. With help from our supervisor Mr. Armstrong, we learned just as much as our student members during preparation and meetings.”
