Anniversary Series: The Journey of Minseog Choi, DAIS Class of 2012

ACAMIS Soccer 2012

As we celebrate our anniversary this year, we are delighted to reconnect with alumnus Minseog Choi, a proud member of the Class of 2012 - DAIS’s second graduating cohort. Minseog witnessed the school’s early growth firsthand. Now building an impressive career in Germany as an AI project manager and cloud developer, he joins us once again to share his memories and celebrate the school anniversary with us.

Hello, my name is Minseog Choi. I’m currently living in Germany and working for a German automotive company at its headquarters as an AI project manager and cloud developer.

First of all, a huge congratulations on the school’s 20th anniversary. I’m part of the second graduating class of 2012, so I’ve had the privilege of watching the school grow ever since it first opened its doors. I can honestly say that I have only great memories from my time at Dalian American International School.

If I had to choose one particularly memorable moment, it would be the first ACAMIS tournament hosted at DAIS. It was the first time we represented our school as the host of the tournament, and we achieved excellent results as a team. On a personal level, it was also unforgettable because I received the MVP award.

It remains one of my favorite memories from my time at DAIS. I’m truly happy to see the school continue to grow and make an impact in the global community. I wish you all the best for the next 20 years, and once again, a huge congratulations!
