DAIS/DHS Class of 2024 students received more than 100 offers from colleges and universities worldwide and a tremendous amount of US$1,524,000 and HK$680,000 in scholarships. More are coming very soon!
Application season is coming to a close for the Class of 2024. Students received a number of ups and downs throughout the application process. Reviewing list of offers, I'm excited and thrilled for the Class of 2024. Each student has found a new home, destination, and hopefully a continuation of their passions!
At DAIS/DHS the goal of the university counseling process is simple. Guiding students towards finding a second home. Helping them understand the options available to them and engage in a thoughtful process of reflection where they reach out into the world and select a second home a place where they feel they can thrive, a place where the next stage in their transitory journey continues – the transition into young adulthood.
As we share the list of destinations the Class of 2024 have chosen, I hope that each student finds value in the choice of destination and find purpose in the pursuit of intentionality in being the drivers of their future. I applaud the Counseling and Student Services Team for supporting the Class of 2024 in their university journey, they did a tremendous job in guiding and directing the Class of 2024 towards a successful ending of their high school experience. Now we look to preparing for the transition. Information sessions are up and coming with the Grade 12 students concerning items related to evaluating their offers and transitioning to university life in the hopes we are preparing them for personal and academic success.
I join with the Counseling and Student Services Team in sharing our excitement for the Class of 2025. It looks to be another impressive year for DAIS/DHS as students will be working on finalizing their selections and putting together the pieces of themselves that they will be sharing with university destinations globally.
