Open Days
DAIS/DHS Asian Studies students went to Dandong on February 23 as part of a project studying the Korean War.
Our Social Studies courses focus on developing historical thinking skills. Part of this field trip was a visit to the Dandong museum.
The students also went to the Hushan Great Wall - the eastern-most section of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) Great Wall located in Dandong, Liaoning province, on the banks of the Yalu River, the border between China and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
