Open Days
Chess League is the first ever NAE global chess competition hosted by NAE Global Campus with 38 schools worldwide.
There are three stages of competition. The first stage was where all the participating schools competed, and battles were split by their respective hemispheres. DAIS/DHS competed in the eastern hemisphere with 25 schools in an hour-long online battle via lichess.org. The second stage will be the world team final on February 27, and the world individual final will be on March 19.
The first stage was competitive, with a group of seven students from grades 6 to 11. Everyone did their best and had a fun time. We learned valuable lessons of sportsmanship, overcoming difficulties by not giving up, and learning from each other.
