It was a long and eventful school year 2022-23 for students and teachers of Dalian American International School. For those of you moving on to the next adventure, you will be missed. To those of you returning to DAIS, we look forward to seeing you in August!
We have had an exciting finish to the 2022-2023 academic year on June 2nd. Students in DAIS Elementary and Secondary had time to sign yearbooks, as well as celebrate the end of the school year with class parties.
Elementary school students participated in an assembly in the Dragon Den where everyone shared their memories from the past school year, received their certificates of accomplishment and were promoted to the next grade level. They also had a chance to say goodbye to Mr. Peter Row, DAIS Elementary Principal.
Over a period of ten years, DAIS has been blessed to have enjoyed the dedication, devotion, guidance and support of Mr. Peter Row as a well-loved member of our community. In his various roles throughout his tenure including elementary teacher, curriculum leader and Elementary Principal for the past 5 years, he has constantly proven his passion for high quality teaching and learning and his deep compassion for the staff, students and families of our community. We wish Mr. Row and his family all the best as they move to South Korea.
At the end of the school day, all teachers and staff came to the West Gate for the traditional send off for students.
