The DAIS and DHS High School Student Government held a fabulous Winter Dance at Dalian Hard Rock Hotel on January 22th. This is a nice tradition for our high school students to dress up and come together in a fancy place to dance, chat, enjoy food and music with their friends in wintertime.
The theme of the event was Rock'n'Hollywood, and our students and teachers well and truly rocked on the stage and out front. Attendees could enjoy many rip-roaring musical performances, including the biggest one by the hard rock band formed of a few DAIS students and teachers.
After three months of careful preparation, the Winter Dance was a huge success. A big thank you goes out to the student government who organized it so well. Great music coupled with local and western food specialties and spiffy outfits really made the event a blast!
