The Musical Theatre class has been hard at work this year preparing and performing our spring production of the classic Broadway musical show Guys and Dolls.
Students have been learning the fundamentals of functioning in an ensemble cast, acting, dancing and singing their way to creating a successful performance.
“Guys and Dolls” is a show set in New York City in the 1930s and is, on the surface, a story of gamblers and church mission members, but at its heart is the story of men and women learning to accept each other’s differences and allowing love to win in the end. The show is rich with comedic characters, love interests, and even suspenseful moments of tension.
The DAIS community enjoyed this musical performance on April 28th and April 29th. Thank you to Mr. Bryant, Mrs. Gifford and all actors for this unforgettable show!
