On Saturday 16th DAIS/HM Academy students participated in the ACAMIS Cross Country Championship in Chengdu. We placed 1st out of 8 schools in our conference. In the U19 Boys Race freshman Andrew Gibby led the exciting race until the 4k mark and ended 2nd place. In the U19 Girls Race sophomore Karen Brenner also had a back in forth battle for the individual championship and she finished 2nd overall. The U14 Girls were led by Bryleigh Sylvester with a 4th place finish in her race. The U14 Boys were led the trio of Matthew Mead, Aman Tesfu, and Hiromichi Sasaki.
