Beach Day at Dalian American International School is a time honored tradition when academics are put aside for an afternoon of fun, sun and good-natured competition. The DAIS Applied Studies: Student Government class entirely organizes and runs a wacky sports day as their first class project. Preparation begins on the very first day of school as they decide which games will be played, how to run them and how to organize hundreds of students to the beach and through an afternoon of games. Student Government Officers and Members learn the importance of leadership, teamwork, service, and attention to detail as they work together to provide a memorable and entertaining afternoon for their fellow classmates and teachers.
