First College Acceptances for DAIS/DHS Class of 2026

Class of 2026 students

DAIS and Huamei Class of 2026 students are already celebrating standout early offers. They have secured over $196,000 in scholarships and acceptances from prestigious institutions such as the University of Rochester (United States), the University of Edinburgh and the University of Manchester (United Kingdom), the University of Sydney (Australia), and many more. And this is only the beginning! Regular decision results from highly selective universities worldwide are still ahead, and we look forward to sharing even more exciting outcomes soon.

College Application Journey

Each graduating class, as they venture through the post-secondary transition process, demonstrates a significant collective identity. Class of 2026 has embodied the ideal of finding a safe harbor for their next step in their College Application Journey. Only a handoff of results from the anticipated 550 applications have been reported. Much of the reports demonstrate a consistent message of searching for and finding that second home.

At DAIS and Huamei, the focus is always on supporting and encouraging student and family choice, empowering our students to engage proactively in success plans not just for college but for life in general. We are constantly revisiting and encouraging our students to engage with and discuss what their rich life would look like and how does that factor into the development of the life they hope to aspire to.

Many of the early offers we have seen demonstrate the choice of safety. Majority of your graduating students choose to apply to their safety schools during the early offer rounds. For them security was important and a deciding factor in how they navigated the post-secondary process. Once again, in different ways, those decisions have been honored with offers of acceptance as well as scholarship opportunities not normally seen at highly selective institutions.

One of our graduates has already secured a 4-year scholarship to a quality regional institution and another has earned a lucrative 92,000 USD scholarship to Savannah College of Art and Design. One student has been accepted to her dream school - University of Rochester - while others have enjoyed a restful Grade 12 year as they were admitted early to their target school in Australia.

We are excited at the conservative nature of the Class of 2026, and we are also hopeful that the regular admissions rounds reveal the consistency that DAIS has been known for. We are looking forward to the outcomes from the many University of California applications we have sent; highly selective applications for Harvard, Cornell, NYU, USC, University of North Carolina, University of Virginia, University of Chicago, University of Michigan Ann Arbor, Tufts University, Rice University; and other respected institutions globally like National University of Singapore, University of Hong Kong, University College London, and University of Toronto.
