On April 10, the DAIS North Gym transformed into a stage of talent, passion, and school spirit as high school students came together for the 2025 Talent Show. Organized by the Student Government, the evening featured a wide range of performances, from emotional ballads and energetic dances to full-band rock numbers.
The show kicked off with Student Government members performing a fun group number, combining “Superhero” and “Get Rich” to set a lively tone. Amy followed with a heartfelt rendition of “Say Love You,” and Agnes raised the intensity with “Dangerously.”
The energy shifted as Natalie and Cindy brought powerful choreography to “Xun Yao,” capturing the crowd with their precision and style. Then Aditya’s soulful cover of “Gone” quieted the room in the best way, leading into a crowd favorite - Oscar, Billy, Edward, and Artemis performing “Previous Life” with their band. Dance returned to the spotlight with Linda, Natalie, and Angel delivering a stylish routine to “Super Shy.”
The program kept its momentum with the band performance of “We All Pick C” by Nick Z, Alan, Sam, Alex, Gracie, and Nick W - a creative twist that got everyone laughing. Natalie returned to the stage with Nancy, Lindy, Amy, and Cindy for a high-energy group dance to “UP,” showcasing the power of teamwork and stage presence.
In a quieter moment, Jolie and Vivy’s duet “The Adventurous Dream You Had” brought out the emotion of the night, followed by a stirring band performance of “I Really Miss You” by Allen, Jack, Joestar, Thomas, and Leo. Winnie’s solo “My Beauty” was another highlight, earning big applause for both vocal control and feeling.
The musical vibe continued with a performance of “Only One” by Jack, Jonny, Angela, Allen, and Natalie. Thomas returned to the spotlight with a moving piano-vocal rendition of “Stay Behind,” and the crowd was swept away one last time by Felix and Angela’s duet “Honest.”
To close the night, the seniors took center stage with a heartfelt group performance of “Remember Me,” leaving the audience with both smiles and misty eyes. It was a fitting tribute for the graduating class and a perfect way to end a night full of talent and connection.
From start to finish, the 2025 DAIS Talent Show was a celebration of creativity, courage, and community. Congratulations to all the performers - you made the night unforgettable.
