Our students demonstrated creativity, personal excellence, and impressive talent during the annual Art Show exhibition on Tuesday, May 16.
After a short opening ceremony on the field, families and friends could visit the exhibitions displayed along our buildings: Elementary, Secondary and Bilingual school. It was wonderful to see our kids shining and feeling proud for their achievements, and our community on campus enjoying and celebrating creativity.
Mr. Martin: "This is our annual Art exhibition at Dalian American International School where our students show not only their talent but also their creativity. Here in the school we educate creative and responsible global citizens."
Mr. Eduardo do Val: “After two years without any art event, it was an interesting challenge to revitalize the art show. The teacher’s group worked hard throughout the year to foster students’ interest and to compile quality work to be presented. Our students did a great job with different art pieces that show not only prof of technique, but also are able to evoke different emotions and shine light to relevant socio-cultural aspects. I am happy with the work that students and teachers put this year in the art show, and I expect a greater event for the upcoming years.”
Ms. Fan: "This is the first time since the epidemic that we can enjoy face-to-face art works with parents and students. Here I can see the fantastic ideas of the students, as well as the exploration of the world and the emotional expression of themselves. Walking around the exhibition and listening to the interpretation of the works by the parents, and the loud expressions of love by the children, I felt very moved. Let's meet again next year, and look forward to another year of art shining in our school."
