The Advanced Placement program which was developed by the College Board annually recognizes students who perform well on multiple Advanced Placement (AP) examinations. The DAIS administration, faculty and staff are very proud to announce that our students have continued to excel during these difficult times, with a record 71 award-winning students earning various accolades from College Board. The awards include AP Scholar, AP Scholar with Honor, AP Scholar of Distinction and the AP International Diploma. DAIS is also proud to announce that 127 AP students *(86%) received a score of three or higher during the 2021 administration of AP exams. This spring DAIS and DHS had 148 students participating in AP exams completing a school record, 312 exams. The DAIS family is proud of these accomplishments.

DAIS and DHS students on average scored higher than all schools globally in 17 of the 18 AP exams offered at the school. DAIS and DHS performed better that other schools in China on 11 of the 18 AP exams offered.
