Mark Ma, Julie Zheng and the rest of their committee brought their dream of hosting a Tedx event at DAIS to reality on Wednesday, November 27th. Our school hosted an event focused on the topic of Multidimensional Thinking. The four speakers were Mr. Mars Ma, co-founder of the Charity Educational Alliance which supports schools in impoverished regions of China, DAIS secondary science teacher Pradeep Malik, DAIS Head of School Dr. Blair Lee, and Vice President and General Manager of Intel Dalian Mr. CC Liong.
This highly successful TEDx event was entirely organized by a dedicated group of DAIS students who embody the TED organizations motto of “ideas worth spreading”. Congratulations to everyone for bringing a professional and enlightening event to our community.
