ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Through SUPA, students engage in university-level coursework during the regular school day and earn both high school and college credit. This experience allows students to challenge themselves academically, develop greater confidence in their abilities, and gain a valuable head start on their university journey. By experiencing the rigor and expectations of college-level courses before graduation, students are better prepared for the transition to higher education.

Each SUPA course at DAIS is taught by a DAIS faculty member who has completed Syracuse University training on their campus. Through this partnership, students have access to an authentic university learning experience while continuing to benefit from the personalized support and close-knit learning environment of DAIS.
College credits earned through SUPA may be transferable to other colleges and universities, subject to each institution's transfer credit policies. At DAIS, SUPA is offered as part of our academic program for students who demonstrate the readiness and ability to succeed in university-level coursework, with no additional fee for participation.
* Selection for SUPA courses is based on teacher recommendations, standardized test results, and academic performance. Students must have a GPA of 3.70 or higher to be eligible.
