Mr. Armstrong seeks to instill in his students a growth mindset and wants them to discover the power of constructing knowledge for themselves.
Brad Armstrong holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. As a junior at California State University, Chico, Mr. Armstrong was presented with the Organic Chemistry Student of the Year Award. After earning his Single Subject Teaching Credential from California State University, Chico in 2004, Mr. Armstrong began teaching science in his hometown of Chico, CA.
He taught a range of science courses including biology, chemistry, physical science, and earth science in his 13 years working for Chico Unified School District. Mr. Armstrong helped to create a middle school STEM and Robotics program before moving with his family to teach in China. Mr. Armstrong seeks to instill in his students a growth mindset and wants them to discover the power of constructing knowledge for themselves. In his free time, Mr. Armstrong enjoys pursuing a healthy lifestyle and can be found swimming, biking, or kicking a soccer ball around with his children.
The start date for all DAIS divisions has been moved from August 5th to August 19th. We are monitoring the recent Covid-19 outbreak in the Dalian area and will report to the community any impact that this outbreak may have on the start of the school year.
