Mr. Krakowski’s physical education teaching philosophy focuses on developing students’ psychomotor, affective, and cognitive domains.
Matthew Krakowski graduated from Springfield College in the spring of 2012 with a Bachelor Degree in Movement and Sport’s Study. After graduation, he stayed at Springfield College, and graduated with two Masters Degrees in Administration and Professional License in Physical Education in the spring of 2014. Upon graduation, he took a job in Qingdao, China at Qingdao #1 International School of Shandong Province.
In the Fall of 2017, Matthew joined the DAIS staff as a middle school and elementary physical education teacher and After School Activities Coordinator. Bringing in a new style of Physical Education, he brought a new programs and activities to the school and was promoted from teacher to Athletic Director, serving in that position for the next two years. In 2019-2020, Matthew has transitioned into a full-time secondary teacher to further develop the curriculum for the Outdoor Education and Physical Education classes.
