Mrs. Lobe believes in hands-on, applied learning approach to her teaching.
Elizabeth Lobe graduated from Washington State University in 1989 with a degree in Home Economics Education with a minor in Health. She received her Master’s in Education with an emphasis in Leadership from University of Portland in 1998. Elizabeth is National Board Certified Teacher from the United States which she received in 2009.
She and her husband Randy joined the DAIS community in 2016 from Lacey, Washington, where she taught Family and Consumer Science (formerly, Home Economics) for 26 years plus AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination), a college and career ready course, the last three years. In addition to teaching, she loves to cook, swim and explore new surroundings. Mrs. Lobe believes in hands-on, applied learning approach to her teaching. The connection between the topic discussed in class and everyday living is an integral part of understanding the world we live in.
