Cindy comes from the Canadian prairies and has been part of the DAIS community since 2017. She is delighted to return this year in the exciting new role of EAL curriculum specialist. Cindy holds a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Saskatchewan, a Certificate in English Language Teaching from Cambridge University and is currently pursuing graduate coursework specializing in TESOL.
Her professional experience includes teaching at elementary, secondary, and post-secondary levels in Egypt, Canada, and China as well as EAL program design and curriculum development. Cindy is committed to engaging in positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues which she believes are all essential for student success. She enjoys exploring the world as a traveler, a reader, a writer, and a learner who is perpetually inspired by those she meets along the way.
The start date for all DAIS divisions has been moved from August 5th to August 19th. We are monitoring the recent Covid-19 outbreak in the Dalian area and will report to the community any impact that this outbreak may have on the start of the school year.
