The Dalian American International School (DAIS) is managed by International Schools Services (ISS), a non-profit corporation dedicated to educational excellence for children attending international schools worldwide. ISS mentors ensure our school’s continuous growth and success by supporting learning innovation, accounting and financial activities, staff recruitment and professional development, procurement, child protection policies, operations management, accreditation, and quality assurance. ISS’s protocols and best-practice methodologies set the pace for constant improvement to help the school remain best-in-class.
Since its foundation in 1955, ISS has launched and managed more than 110 international schools. Nowadays ISS works with more than 500 international schools around the world each year and directly operates nearly 20 of them. ISS provides frameworks for the school’s operations, supervises the development of the school, and helps recruit English-speaking teachers.
As an ISS-managed school, DAIS relies on the principle of excellence and student-centered learning. ISS’ educational philosophy proclaims that successful education is a result of which the child, the family, and the school working in concert to achieve clear and articulated outcomes.
