Accreditation is a process that gives us the opportunity to discover what needs to be improved through an in depth self-study of our school. DAIS is fully accredited by the Council of International Schools(CIS), Western Association of Schools and Colleges(WASC), and the China National Center for Curriculum and Textbook Development(NCCT). In 2009, we began the accreditation process through an in-depth study of all aspects of our school. Committees made up of parents, students, and teachers identified many strengths and also improvements that could make DAIS an even better place.

Accreditation is an ongoing process of improvement. In conjunction with our three accreditation partner agencies, we have set school-wide goals annually. Each year we commit to improving our school by focusing on the things that will help us achieve our school mission as shown below.
